Formed in 2020, TUZI (2Z) (pronounced “Too-zee”) from South Korea immediately caught the attention of music lovers with their striking visuals and electrifying stage presence. The original lineup — Bum Jun (leader and drummer), Jung Hyun (bassist and rapper), Ji Seob (guitarist), Hyun Woong (rapper), and Ho Jun (main vocalist), all came from backgrounds in modeling or the idol scene. But what made people really start talking about them was their music.

With their debut EP We Tuzi: and the 90s-flavored lead single My 1st Hero, they proudly planted their flag in the pop-rock world, making it clear they had much more to offer than just good looks.

Debuting during a global pandemic, TUZI faced countless challenges. They turned their focus inward, honing their craft and broadening their sound with their first full-length album Act1 and genre-blending EP Like a Movie, proving they were unafraid to push their musical boundaries. As the years passed, critics started acknowledging their musical evolution. Their live shows revealed sharper skills and a deeper emotional connection with the audience. Once labeled a “pretty boy band,” TUZI had undeniably earned their place as true artists with something real to say.

In 2025, TUZI welcomed a new member, NUVorn, as bassist and producer, following Ji Seob’s departure. They released their latest EP Glorious Youth and launched a massive Asia tour, with Thailand proudly on the route at Starnest Music Festival.

As soon as the previous act wrapped up and the lights dropped, Bum Jun’s thunderous drumming, like a call to arms, shook the hall. The fiery guitar riffs pulled everyone toward the stage. TUZI launched into 2020 March, a powerful opener that ignited the crowd. Ho Jun’s dynamic energy and soaring vocals immediately had everyone jumping and shouting along.

They rolled into O@SIS, blending groovy pop guitar with an explosive hook. The sticky basslines had the crowd swaying non-stop. After a quick, heartfelt introduction, they amped things up with 25, pushing the energy even higher with roaring drums and fierce vocal harmonies, even throwing in a surprise dubstep break that had the crowd losing it.

Then came HOPE, featuring a mind-blowing rap section. Bum Jun took things up a notch by ripping off his shirt while drumming, driving the energy into overdrive. Their performance shattered the typical K-Rock mold, blending pure firepower with emotional rawness.

Ho Jun charmed the crowd by asking, “āļŠāļ™āļļāļāļĄāļąāđ‰āļĒ?” (“Are you having fun?”) in Thai, sparking an explosive cheer. They tore into I AM, fusing pounding drums with synths and emotional EDM bursts that redefined K-Rock’s possibilities.

Next was Playground, a playful and high-energy song where the members introduced themselves more personally. Then came ęļ°ė„ļ (æ°Ģå‹Ē), a rock ballad that slowly built into an epic, anime-worthy climax, one of the most powerful moments of their set.

Ho Jun even led the crowd in a singalong of “Do Re Mi Fa Sol Fa Mi Re Do” with a heartwarming vibe, before launching into 2Z Anthem, getting everyone dancing and chanting so loudly it almost drowned out the band. They cooled things down with It Is U, a song that perfectly showcased Ho Jun’s heartfelt charisma.

Before closing, the band sincerely thanked the fans, sharing how happy they were to visit Thailand again. They left everyone with Super Star, an upbeat, infectious pop song that had everyone head-bobbing and grinning until the final note. It was a truly touching finale.

After wrapping up their show, TUZI immediately jetted off to their next destination. But the impact they left lingered, their electrifying performances and genuine emotional connection continue to captivate audiences across Asia and Latin America alike.

TUZI’s journey has just begun. With relentless musical experimentation and a growing global fanbase, their future looks incredibly bright.
