Analog Joys (Alternative / Shoegaze)

Analog Joys ก่อตั้งในปี 2020 เกิดขึ้นจากกลุ่มเพื่อนในรั้วมหาวิทยาลัย และเพื่อนของเพื่อนที่ชวนกันมาร่วมวงด้วยครับ ผม (ดากานต์ วงศกร จงคลาดกลาง) เริ่มต้นจากความคิดอยากทำวงดนตรีโคฟเวอร์ เล่นตามงานปาร์ตี้ในโคราช จุดเริ่มต้นก็เรียบง่ายแค่นี้เลยครับ

ผมเริ่มมองหาเพื่อนร่วมวง โดยคนแรกคือ แม้ก (ธนกฤต ภูวรัตหิรัญ) เพื่อนสมัย ปวช. ที่รู้จักกันมานานและเล่นดนตรีด้วยกันมาตลอด จากนั้นก็ชวน ปัน (ปัณณ์ ประสิทธิ์) รุ่นน้องในคณะมาเล่นเบส (5555) เบนซ์ เป็นรุ่นน้องในละแวกบ้าน ก็เลยมารับหน้าที่มือกีตาร์ ตำแหน่งสุดท้ายคือ กลอง ซึ่งเป็นตำแหน่งที่ผมหามานานตั้งแต่เริ่มอยากตั้งวง มองคนรอบตัวยังไม่มีใครเข้าตา จนกระทั่งไปเจอเพื่อนของเพื่อนจากต่างมหาวิทยาลัยชื่อ พีท (พิทวัส เสมอมา) ซึ่งเป็นนักศึกษาศิลปะเหมือนกับผมและปัน

ผมบังเอิญไปเห็นคลิปที่พีทตีกลองกับเพื่อนๆ ผมในห้องซ้อม ก็เลยชวนเขามาร่วมวงด้วยกัน แจกความสดใสในตัวเมืองโคราชกันอย่างจริงจัง ไม่นานจากนั้น พวกเราก็ตัดสินใจอยากทำเพลงของตัวเองอย่างจริงจัง แต่ในตอนนั้นผมไม่มีความรู้เกี่ยวกับการทำเพลงเลย ไม่รู้จะเริ่มจากตรงไหน จนได้ไปรู้จักกับ พี่เอ (งานแต่ง) ที่ร้านประจำ ได้พูดคุยและซึมซับความรู้จากเขา จนเริ่มเข้าใจสิ่งที่ตัวเองอยากจะทำ จากนั้น ผมก็ได้รู้จักกับ บ๊ะจ่าง (ณรงค์ฤทธิ์ บริบูรณ์) ซึ่งกลายมาเป็นคนดูแลเรื่องอุปกรณ์ ระบบการบันทึกเสียง และซาวด์ต่างๆ ของ Analog Joys ทั้งหมด

ในปี 2022 พวกเราก็มีเพลงแรกคือ “Evermore (เสมอมา)” ซึ่งอยู่ใน EP Die Tomorrow และมีเพลงอื่นๆ ตามมาในปีถัดไป จนถึงปี 2025 นี้ Analog Joys – EP: Die Tomorrow กำลังจะถูกปล่อยให้ฟังกันแบบเต็ม EP ทั้งหมด 5 เพลง ฝากด้วยนะครับ (เป็นวงที่ทำเพลงนานจ้าดด 555)

Analog Joys was formed in 2020 by a group of university friends, and friends of friends who came together out of a shared love for music. I’m Dakan Wongsakorn Jongkhladklang, and it all started with a simple idea: I just wanted to form a cover band to play at parties around Korat.

The first person I reached out to was Maek (Thanakrit Phuwarattahirun), my longtime friend from vocational school and a regular music buddy. Then came Pun (Pann Prasit), a junior from my faculty, who joined as our bassist (5555). Benz, a younger neighbor from my community, took on the role of guitarist. The last position, drummer was the hardest to fill. I couldn’t find anyone suitable from my circle until I came across a friend-of-a-friend from another university named Pete (Phitthawat Samerma), who, like me and Pun, was an art student.

I stumbled upon a clip of Pete drumming with his friends in a practice room and decided to invite him to join the band. That’s how our journey of spreading joy in downtown Korat began. Not long after, we made the decision to write and produce our own songs. At the time, I had zero knowledge about music production, I didn’t even know where to begin. Then I met P’Ae (Ngarn Taeng) at our go-to hangout spot. Through our conversations, I gradually picked up valuable insights and began to understand the direction I wanted to take.

Later, I met Baa-Jang (Narongrit Boriboon), who became the person in charge of all our gear, sound systems, and recording setups — the backbone of Analog Joys’ sound.

In 2022, we released our first single, “Evermore (เสมอมา),” as part of our EP Die Tomorrow, followed by more songs in the years that followed. Now, in 2025, the full Die Tomorrow EP, five tracks in total, is finally set to be released. Hope you’ll give it a listen! (Yes, we do take our sweet time making music — 555.)
