เริ่มมาจากผมโอมนักร้องนำ ได้ไปเจอกับแซกที่งานแข่งดนตรีที่ imperial world สำโรง ชอบฟังเพลงอินดี้คล้ายๆกัน เลยได้ฟอร์มวงกับเพื่อนๆอีก2คนขึ้นมาชื่อว่า butterscotch มี4คน เพื่อไปเล่นตามงานต่างๆ แต่ก็เริ่มเบื่อที่จะเล่นเพลงของคนอื่น รู้สึกอยากมีเพลงตัวเองเล่นบ้าง อยากให้วงอื่นๆเอาเพลงของวงเราไปเล่นบ้าง ผมก็เลยขอออกจากวงเพื่อมาทำเดี่ยว แต่คุยกับแซกไปๆมาๆก็ได้เป็นคู่Duoเฉยเลย เพราะอยากทำอะไรที่มันต่างจากวงการเพลงที่มี เลยได้ตั้งวงใหม่ขึ้นมาชื่อว่า buttersalt (จริงๆตอนแรกก็จะใช้ชื่อเดิมแต่มีคนใช้ไปแล้ว😭)
It started with me, Oam, the lead singer. I met Zack at a music competition at Imperial World Samrong. We were into similar indie music, so we formed a band with two other friends called Butterscotch. There were four of us, and we played at different events.
After a while, though, we got bored of just playing other people’s songs. We wanted to have our own songs to perform, and even hoped other bands might cover our music someday. So I decided to leave the band to go solo.
But as Zack and I kept talking, it somehow turned into a duo instead. We wanted to do something different from what was already out there in the music scene, so we started a new project called buttersalt (Originally, we wanted to keep the old name, but someone was already using it 😭)
