Whispers ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี 2014 โดยเริ่มมาจากการเป็นเพื่อนกันในซีนดนตรีฮาร์ดคอร์ในช่วงต้น 2010s ซึ่ง ณ เวลานั้นแต่ละสมาชิกมีโปรเจคเล็ก ๆ กันเองอยู่แล้ว จนได้มาฟอร์มวง Whispers เนื่องจากไปเล่นงานฮาร์ดคอร์ที่เชียงใหม่แล้วแต่ละคนก็ได้รู้จักกันมากขึ้นจนมาเล่นเพลงแนวที่แต่ละคนเห็นพ้องกัน ในขณะนั้นซีนฮาร์ดคอร์ไทยพึ่งเปลี่ยนผ่านมาสู่ยุค Holding On Records จัดงานถี่ช่วงแรกที่ DIY มาก ๆ แล้วเปี่ยมไปด้วยความเยาว์วัยลองผิดลองถูกทั้งผู้จัดและคนดู

ตั้งแต่นั้นเป็นต้นมาวงมีเล่นตามงาน underground ต่าง ๆ มากมายและได้เล่นเปิดวงที่มาทัวร์เช่น Power Trip (USA) เมื่อปี 2020
และโชว์นั้นเองก็เหมือนเป็นจุดแจ้งเกิดวงแบบเห็นได้ชัด ซึ่งช่วงนั้นวงก็อยู่ในโปรเซสทำชุด Narok Bon Din กันอยู่พอดี จนปล่อยออกมาเมื่อปี 2021 และผลตอบรับดีทั้งในไทยและต่างประเทศ

ปัจจุบันวงเซ็นสัญญากับค่ายจากสหรัฐอเมริกา Flatspot Records และทัวร์ต่างประเทศมากมายกับวงอย่าง Speed

Whispers was formed in 2014, born out of friendships forged in Thailand’s hardcore scene of the early 2010s. At the time, each member already had small projects of their own, but things clicked when they met again at a hardcore show in Chiang Mai. That shared experience led them to create Whispers—a band shaped by the sounds they all connected with. The local scene was then entering a new era led by Holding On Records, marked by an explosion of DIY shows filled with youthful trial and error on both sides of the stage.

Since then, Whispers have played countless underground gigs, gradually building momentum until a breakout moment arrived: opening for U.S. hardcore band Power Trip in 2020. That performance gave the band a noticeable boost in recognition, coinciding with their work on the album Narok Bon Din, which dropped in 2021 to positive reception both domestically and internationally.

Now signed to U.S.-based label Flatspot Records, Whispers have been touring abroad with bands like Speed.
