Wormtower เริ่มจากการแต่งเพลงกับกีตาร์และแนว D.I.Y/experimental noise ในห้องนอนคนเดียวเพราะไม่กล้าคุยกับคนอื่นหรือชวนใครมาทำวงด้วยกัน เราเขียนเพลงเกี่ยวกับความคิดหรือความรู้สึกต่อตัวเองและคนอื่นที่มันยากและท่วมท้นเกินไปที่จะเล่าผ่านบทสนทนาปากเปล่าเพราะไม่รู้จะพูดกับคนอื่นยังไง เราชอบเสียงที่มีความหลอกหลอน ความเกรี้ยวกราด ความขี้เหร่ ที่มีความอ่อนโยนและเศร้าโศกอยู่ในตัว เราอยากทำใหคนรู้สึกไม่ปลอดภัย แต่ในขณะเดียวกัน รู้สึกถูกปลอบโยนเหมือนได้ซดซุปอุ่นๆ ขณะที่ฟังเพลงของเรา
Wormtower started off making guitar music and D.I.Y experimental noise stuff alone in my bedroom, because I was too shy to reach out to people to form a noise band with me. I write about personal things I find too difficult and overwhelmed to say to people. I love sounds, and I love making them. I love making haunting, aggressive, ugly sounds that are gentle and melancholic. I want people to be a little spooked but also feel like they’re having a warm bowl of soup listening to my music
